This is another view of the kind young woman brewing a pot of green tea for me back in 1998. The little tea house was located above a favorite local bookstore. It was great fun painting this quiet food server in her work space. I had fun with the colorful boxes of tea, the water jug, the coffee pots, the brick wall, and the normal clutter found in tight spaces. The light, color, and composition in this piece were rendered to convey the relaxed warmth of the experience. Hope you enjoy!
