Digital reworking of an acrylic collage painting inspired by a photograph of a Korean mother and child. Lots of intense color, use of metallic gold acrylic, and plenty of layering of paper, poetry, and images from printed media. Vertical format and subject matter have an archetypal energy. The mother and child theme has appeared in my work for many years.
