Earth Day Bikes II is a digital art piece derived from the 1997 acrylic painting Earth Day Bikes, from my series Scenes from Earth Day. It was a lovely spring day at the local co-op. The Earth Day Fair included lots of townsfolk and vendor booths, as well as specially designated bikes available for free riding around town. The lively colors and forms sparkled. Good thing I'd brought the camera along. Not far from the booth of a dear friend selling floral wreaths, I noticed the view. Bicycles and balloons, with people and trees in the distance.
