One morning during the holidays I noticed a kind of beauty to the clutter on the kitchen counter. The blue mosaic bowl made by a blind friend in the 1970's brimmed with memories and mishmash. The big jar filled with favorite spoons and utensils sparkled. Five Fuji apples caught the early light, their vivid reds echoed in the pepper design of the spoon rest. I took several photos and experimented with various filters in Photoshop. The end result has a cozy, painterly energy, with lots of warm pinks and reds. Great for chefs, cooks, and folks who enjoy casual dining; Nice for housewarmings, bridal showers and restaurant decor, too.
