During an Earth Day Celebration in 1997 I found a quiet place where folks parked the free for the riding Earth Day bikes. The back lighting of sunshine on pavement accentuated their wonderful, familiar shapes. The dazzle of placards, balloons, and tie dye added yet more contrast and a bit of active energy.
