It was a quiet and chilly morning when I stepped out onto the balcony with my camera. Looking at the sky I forgot it was Christmas and just studied the light. It changes in an instant. This image was fun as a simple photo, but became even more fun when I ran it through filters in several programs. There is painterly quality to the overall effect that echoes art from another time.
